„Culture as a means of integration and inclusion“
is the motto of the cultural work in the Johannes-Busch Wohnverbund, a residential facility for people with disabilities of the Evangelical Johanneswerk e.V.
In 2000, the Integrative Kulturwerkstatt Alte Schule was founded as an independent work area, and since then it has represented the cultural work of the Johannes-Busch Residential Association in a variety of ways.
The task of cultural work is to make culture equally accessible to people with and without disabilities, so that the focus is not on the disability, but on the person himself with his or her abilities and characteristics.
